Workers' compensation RCM software that works
About us
We make treating injured workers easier. Complicated fee schedules, convoluted rules, and payer misbehavior make workers’ comp a tough proposition for providers. Financially, treating work-related injuries can become unsustainable—unless you have the right revenue management software. With daisyBill’s direct connections to the major workers’ comp e-billing clearinghouses, our clients’ e-bills get where they’re going without getting “lost” or ending up “not on file.” That’s how we achieve payment in less than 9 days on average. Every bill (and request for treatment authorization) is tracked, with automatic tasks and alerts for practice staff when the claims administrator misses a deadline or fails to respond compliantly. Easy appeals make disputing denials and reductions easy—and save our providers tens of millions annually. By erasing friction and increasing practice revenue, daisyBill makes treating injured workers a better investment for providers. For injured workers, this means more providers who are willing (and no longer financially disincentivized) to offer the quality care that’s becoming harder and harder to find.

New York providers treating workers' comp patients, you do NOT have to submit all those PARs! At a recent conference, WCB representatives made it clear that as long as the MTG (Medical Treatment Guidelines) support the treatment in question, no prior authorization is required. It is the payer's responsibility to timely pay (or formally object to) your bill. Don't let unnecessary PARs add to the friction! Treating injured workers through a network like MedRisk, OneCall, or Care IQ? We updated our Claims Administrator Directory to include contact, billing, and other information for networks. This is free to use for any workers' comp provider in any state. While networks aren't claims administrators per se, our clients send hundreds of thousands of bills to these entities annually. Unfortunately, because networks aren't claims administrators, many of the legal payment protections put in place for providers don't apply. Contractual reimbursement rates can be low compared to state fee schedules, and payment may come much more slowly. Use the Directory to find the details you need on insurers, self-insured employers, TPAs, and (as of this week) networks. It's our gift to the providers out there who remain willing to treat injured workers. https://lnkd.in/e3mz-EDu #workerscomp #workerscompbilling #medicalbilling

Confused as to how to bill for treating Walmart employees who were injured at work? We got you. Depending on the state, Walmart either self-administers its workers' comp claims, or uses TPA Sedgwick. The good news: no matter what state you're in: - All e-bills should go to CorVel Corporation - For paper billing, the mailing address is the same Details on the blog! https://lnkd.in/e9KMv2pa #workerscompbilling #workerscomp #medicalbilling

For a taste of what providers in the workers' comp system go through, check this out. Carriers refused to pay nearly half of a CA Med-Legal doctor's bills, based on plainly nonsensical reasoning (seriously, read it for yourself). Without the time and tools to manage this mess, the practice would've lost over $19k in a single month. This is the consequence of a DWC that does next to nothing to enforce state payment laws and regulations. Providers, stay alert. https://lnkd.in/dwYE9zzN
