Change is the only constant in life. It’s important for leaders to understand how best to support their teams during times of high change. Mrs. Venice M. Goodwine, CISSP, PMP recently sat down with Jason Miller from Federal News Network to talk about the six ways she leads her teams at SAF/CN during those times. Below is a high-level overview of the 6 way she supports her teams during times of change: ◾ Minimize distractions ◾ No meeting Mondays ◾ Meetings have agendas and when the meeting is over, it’s over ◾ Turn on your cameras during video conference calls and meetings ◾ Take your vacation, you earned it ◾ There are no baker’s dozen when it comes to work projects Check out the article to learn the details on the DAF CIO’s leadership: https://lnkd.in/giZiqSzi #Change #Leadership #Teaming #PeopleFirst #Mangement #Balance

The holiday season is a time for joy and giving, but it's also a peak period for online scams and fraudulent activities. To protect yourself and your loved ones, follow these three essential tips from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA): ▪️Check your Devices: Before making any online purchase, make sure the device you’re using to shop online is up to date. Next, take a look at your accounts and ask, do they each have strong passwords? And even better, if two-factor authentication is available, are you using it? ▪️Only shop through trusted sources: Think about how you’re searching online. Are you searching from home, on public Wi-Fi? How are you finding the deals? Are you clicking on links in emails? Going to trusted vendors? Clicking on ads on webpages? You wouldn’t go into a store with boarded up windows and without signage, the same rules apply online. If it looks suspicious, something’s probably not right. ▪️Use safe methods for purchases: If you’re going to make that purchase, what information are you handing over? Before providing personal or financial information, check the website’s privacy policy. Make sure you understand how your information will be stored and used.
