In 17 days, nearly 90,000 high school students around the world will be immersed in the livestream of a new game. Within hours, these youth will have memorized dozens of pages of game rules and the layout of a gymnasium-style field, then they'll start strategizing moves to build a robot in an attempt to win that game. Why do we care? Because this game motivates students to learn STEM and business skills, more than anything else we've seen. These are the students who will be innovating in our own companies, sooner than you might think. Good luck to our local robotics teams as they approach the kickoff date for the 2025 season! https://lnkd.in/edsF2tT FIRST #FRC #robot #Reefscape #MichiganRobotics

If you've purchased access control equipment, then realized other system components weren't compatible, the CVX-1300 (https://lnkd.in/gitDu8YZ) can help. The multi-format CVX-1300 data converter supports dozens of conversion settings, which can be selected in the field using DIP switches. Examples of common conversion settings: • Wiegand-to-Wiegand: Convert from one Wiegand format to another • RS-232 serial to Wiegand: Typically used to add barcode scanners to access control systems • Wiegand to RS-232 serial: Connect Wiegand readers to a computer or other equipment The CVX-1300 is sold individually, or included in Cypress barcode scanner kits which are commonly used in visitor management applications, or for connecting turnstiles to access control systems. Custom converters are also available. ADI Global Distribution Wesco Anixter PSA Security Network JMAC Supply Controlled Products Systems Group Tony Wagner Jacob LeRoy

Switch to OSDP, while keeping bids competitive, using the Cypress OSM-CPI OSDP-Wiegand Panel Interface (https://lnkd.in/dX6RERd). Here's how the OSM-CPI works: • Converts OSDP credential data to Wiegand, and outputs it to the control panel • Converts the controller’s I/O signals to OSDP messages to send back to the reader • Supports pairing mode for simplified OSDP Secure Channel configuration with OSDP reader • Flying leads allow the OSM-CPI to connect directly to the Wiegand port We at Cypress make unique, reliable technology to save you money, add value, and solve access control problems. We make our products here in the USA, back them with great warranties, and our in-house tech support team is just a phone call away when you have questions. Have you tried the OSM-CPI? When fiber is available on site, you can use a Suprex Wiegand Extender (https://lnkd.in/gYZq3deh) to connect an RFID credential reader to a control panel that's up to 2 miles away. The SPX-7400 supports up to 248 bits of credential data and I/O for door or gate hardware, such as door strike, REX, and door position sensor. This Suprex model is especially recommended for sites that are lightning-prone or where there is excessive heat, saltwater intrusion or erosion, as well as at industrial or corrosive sites. Like most Suprex models, the SPX-7400 can be used with EXP-2000 expansion pairs to add more readers over a single fiber optic connection (up to 8 readers total). The Suprex is made here in our Michigan factory. It includes a pair of units (Central & Remote), and is backed by a great warranty as well as knowledgeable, in-house tech support that's just a phone call away. Did you know you can easily create muster points using the Cypress HHR Wireless Handheld Reader? It's an RFID reader with an embedded HID® reader module that integrates with access control systems. It communicates with its base unit, which is wired to the controller, like a standard Wiegand reader. • No special software or hardware integration is required • No credential data is stored on the handheld reader • All credentials are validated by the existing access control system; positive and negative acknowledgement is shown on the reader • Handheld reader and base unit are paired at the factory and ready to use out of the box Learn more at https://lnkd.in/gc5_Jbnk.
