I'm giving you 5 Techniques to Find a Job in Cyber Security. I've used these and they work. 1. LinkedIn - The job search on LinkedIn is awesome. Don't just search for job titles, but search for the things that interest you. Do you like using Nmap, Nessus, or Metasploit? Search for those things. Stop searching for job titles, because they don't mean anything in this industry. 2. CyberSN - The good friends of mine at CyberSN have a great platform for job searches. You can also create your own profile there. 3. Indeed - One of the biggest job search sites out there. Thousands and thousands of jobs are listed for this industry. 4. Dice - I used to use this site a ton and have landed some of my best jobs through it. Make sure you add it to your portfolio. They have a great app too. 5. Branding - Your personal brand matters. You can have the most perfect resume, but if no one knows you, they aren't going to ask for it. Go to events and shake hands. Build out on social media platforms. It's not about who you know, it's about who knows you. Michael Jordan missed more shots than he ever made, but he is a legend and is one of the greatest players that ever existed.
