Door frames are installed, with doors arriving soon, and partition wall panels are on-site and expected to be installed this week. The new restrooms are framed, with plumbing and electrical work nearing completion. Designed as 100% affordable permanent supportive housing, Northview Pointe provides a safe and stable foundation for formerly unhoused individuals. This housing project, owned and operated by Excelerate Housing Group offers 66 studio units, a two-bedroom unit, inviting community spaces, and ample parking and bike storage to support residents’ diverse needs. With funding from SHRA and TCAC, this project represents what’s possible when we come together to create housing that fosters connection, dignity, and opportunity. This November, we're especially grateful for our amazing Estimator, Holly, who's been with Creekside for 2 years. Holly is a fast learner who has excelled at every challenge thrown her way. In addition to working hard as an estimator, Holly has also been working hard as a student. She recently received her Master of Science in Ag Education. Her efficiency, attention to detail, and hardworking spirit are second to none. But what truly sets her apart is her ability to lift up everyone around her. She's not just a rockstar at her job—she's an incredible teammate who brings positivity and encouragement to the whole team. Let’s learn a little bit more about Holly… Q: How many years in the industry? A: I’ve worked in construction for two years. Before this, I was a full time agriculture teacher. Q: What do you love/enjoy about the field? A: I love getting to work with the other folks at Creekside. I feel surrounded by people who are intelligent, driven, and kind, and they’ve taught me so much. It makes coming to work everyday a new, enjoyable experience. Q: What is one of your favorite things to do on your weekends/ day off? A: I love taking day trips to the coast or hiking with my dog, Hank! Q: If you had a superpower, what would it be? A: I’d love to be able to teleport. No more commute! I could make it to job walks in a flash! Q: What’s your guilty pleasure movie? A: I’m not ashamed to admit that I love the newer Godzilla movies. Q: What is the worst fashion decision you ever made? Do you have pictures? A: I went through a phase in high school (didn’t we all?) where I had some animal print jeans, side bangs, and an eyebrow piercing.
