Are you a parent/caregiver of a preterm baby, or a healthcare provider/researcher with interest in preterm infants/nutrition/growth? Were you born preterm? If yes to any of these questions, this one's for you! The NutriGrow collaboration aims to reach consensus on the key measures of nutrition and growth that should be reported in all studies. We are conducting an online survey to find out what matters most to you. Your participation is anonymous, and all responses will be treated confidentially. To complete the survey, click the link here: https://lnkd.in/gFE3mNFx. The survey will be open until October 2024.

Our Centre for Excellence has a significant focus on undertaking research to explore the benefits of donor milk. Read more about our research and partnership with the Women's and Children's Health Network below:
WCHN CEO, Rebecca Graham (pictured right) was proud to attend alongside Executive Director, Maria Makrides (pictured left) at the the recent launch of SAHMRI's Centre for Research Excellence in Human Milk Nutrition for Preterm Infants, led by Professor Alice Rumbold, PhD, MPH, BSc(Hons) (pictured middle). While not every mum can provide enough breast milk for their new bubs straight away, donated breast milk can help those babies who are born prematurely. Donor milk is vital in the effort to grow and prevent serious health issues in preterm babies. The Centre for Excellence has a significant focus on undertaking research to explore the benefits of donor milk. “𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘢𝘭 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺-𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘩𝘺𝘴𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯, 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘵𝘺”, says Professor Alice Rumbold, PhD, MPH, BSc(Hons). Australian Red Cross Lifeblood is seeking Adelaide mothers to become breast milk donors and support preterm babies across South Australia.
