Fascinating event at the Women’s University Club (WUC) on May 8, 2024. Judge Margaret McKeown, author of Citizen Justice – The Environmental Legacy of William O’Douglas, regaled an audience of WUC members and friends with stories and insights into the life of our longest serving United States Supreme Court Justice -Justice William O’Douglas.  Chief Justice hailed from Eastern Washington reaching the highest Court of the land while retaining his Northwest rooted commitment and sometimes controversial advocacy of the environment – a true force of nature.
