About us

CONSERVATION RANGERS OPERATIONS WORLDWIDE: a true commitment against poaching. C.R.O.W. (Conservation Rangers Operations Worldwide) is a Non-Profit organization registered 501(c)(3) in the US; our mission, as an international, educational institution, is to establish and train Rangers to a set standard in the skills necessary to support, train and supplement anti-poaching and conservation efforts worldwide, and specifically in medium and high risk areas. In April and May CROW carried out its first training of 40 ICCN (L’Institut Congolais pour la Conservation de la Nature) rangers and 40 UGADEC community eco-guards in remote tactical medical procedures in the Maiko National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). We contributed to the IUCN Action Plan for Grauer’s gorillas and chimpanzees in eastern DRC with the provision of equipment and anti-poaching capacity building on the ground as a member of the Ushiriki consortium of conservation partners coordinated by the Jane Goodall Institute and financially supported by the Arcus Foundation grant. ICCN and UGADEC eco-guards in the Maiko National Park and the surrounding territories are safeguarding one of the Earth’s most important biodiversity hotspots. They are working in extremely high-risk conflict areas putting their lives on the line on a daily basis. It is our great honour to stand by their side.
