New development in the works on the north end of the Las #Vegas Strip. #ClarkCounty Commissioners have approved permits for a project to go between the SAHARA Las Vegas and Fontainebleau Las Vegas. This was the former Wet N'Wild site. Plans call for: Hotel resort/condo towers with 2,600 units 18,000 seat arena 6,000 seat theater Convention space Casino and gaming areas along Shopping and food locations LVXP, A Las Vegas team of real estate developers are now leading the effort to build on the site. LVXP says the project will result in the creation of thousands of jobs. They are also continue to work with residents in the area to address their concerns about the project. Attached are renderings of the project from LVXP and Steelman Partners. One note - although the name "The Galileo" is on the renderings, developers say that was for artistic purposes only, it's not the name they have chosen for the project.
