We are excited to announce that Mark Cameron has joined the Public Policy Forum as a Fellow. Mark will oversee PPF’s Canada-U.S. project, Matter More.  Mark has over three decades of experience in government, business and consulting. He was most recently Vice-President External Relations with Pathways Alliance. His career has also included senior roles in federal and provincial government including as Director of Policy and Research in the Prime Minister’s Office, as well as Deputy Minister of the Policy Coordination Office in the Government of Alberta. Mark has worked in the corporate world for Ontario Power Generation and BlackBerry, and as Executive Director of the think tank Clean Prosperity. He has also served in board or advisory roles with the Banff Forum, Canadian American Business Council, Canada-India Business Council, Canada 2020, Cardus, the Energy Futures Lab and Smart Prosperity. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂. 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝗽—𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗴𝗼. In December of 2017, I met Jefferson Noël when he was still a student at FIU and I was serving as a VP. Jefferson’s curiosity, drive, and hunger to grow struck me immediately. It wasn’t long after that I became his mentor. I’ve had the privilege to watch Jefferson evolve: • From a student to a powerful speaker, writer, and entrepreneur. • From enduring the loss of his father to becoming a man of unshakable faith, strength and resilience. Last night, I had the joy of being a guest on his new Barbershop Speaks TV Show which is broadcast on the CW network. Being on his TV was a full circle moment — feeling the fullness of the journey we’ve been on together over the last 7 years. When I launched Lab22c, Jefferson was among the earliest group of people I found ways to collaborate with and invest in. I knew he would show up, deliver, and keep pushing forward. In the past few years, Jeff has become a mentor and big brother to my own children Rania Ishoof & Nabeel Ishoof — he’s taken the time to invest in them and their growth. I’m excited to continue to build and grow with Jefferson in 2025 and beyond 🚀 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗰𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗲.

Congratulations, Sherry Phillips, on your new role as CEO of Forbes Media, the first female CEO in Forbes’ 107-year history! I am incredibly proud to celebrate this historic achievement with you. From being appointed Chief Revenue Officer in 2022, where she expertly led Forbes’ revenue-driving business across digital media, branded content, events, and marketing, to now taking the reins as CEO—Sherry’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. In 2024, under her leadership, Forbes achieved one of its best years yet, with a 50% increase in site traffic and a 40% growth in Live events revenue. Media defines culture, culture defines change, and change defines action. Sherry is an example of how businesses and leadership can create change and advance equality along the way.
