Under Kimberly Dowdell's leadership as the President of AIA, diversity in architecture has seen remarkable growth. According to NCARB, 1 in 3 #newarchitects identifies as a person of color, and 2 in 5 are women. Nearly half of the #prospectivearchitects taking their licensing exams are people of color, and 46% are women. Clearly, Dowdell envisions a future where architects truly reflect the communities they serve and contribute to building a better world.
