  • Christmas gives us incredible opportunities to share the gospel with others. As always, it doesn't have to be a weird, awkward, forced conversation. In fact, sometimes the best conversations are sparked by a simple question, an opportunity to listen, or a chance to show someone you care. On a recent Walking Worthy episode, Mary Lowman and Lisa Bishop discuss ideas on sharing our faith with others. They also share how to bring Jesus into the center, the importance of focusing on advent, how to approach office holiday parties, and more. You can listen to this episode on our website or on your favorite podcast platform.

  • With Thanksgiving just days away, you probably are juggling holiday prep, travel plans, work deadlines, and family commitments. We get it. We are too! Yet, amid the busyness, may each of us soak up the beauty of thanksgiving. May we pause to reflect, practice gratitude, and call those around us to do the same. As followers of Christ, we have so much to be thankful for, and as a ministry, we do too! We're so grateful for the open doors God gives us into your life and in the lives of so many other women around the world. And we're grateful for you! You allow us to speak into your life, encourage you, and call you to grow deeper in your faith. Thank you! May you experience the love and peace of Christ this Thanksgiving, and may it lead you into deeper gratitude.

  • Do you have anyone in your life you just don't like very much? Most of us do, and as Christ-followers, we are called to love all people—whether we like them or not. Love—true love—is not based on our feelings. It doesn't matter if we feel love toward someone, because love is an action. So today, who is one person you can show genuine love to, whether you like that person or not? You can check out Mary Lowman's full thoughts on loving those we may not like at christianworkingwoman.org

  • How would you define joy? To many of us, joy feels like a difficult thing to describe. It's more than being happy. It's more than a feeling. For those who follow Jesus, joy is a fruit of the Holy Spirit in our life. But what does it look like, and can we design a life with joy? Our dear friend Juni Felix has studied, written, and spoken on this topic extensively. She's helped countless people grasp the concept of joy and design their lives with it. If you're ready for this kind of life, join us for our next Zoom Get-together on Saturday, November 9 at 10 AM central time. You can learn more and register for this one hour learning event on our website. #joyatwork #christianleaders #christianleadership #joyinlife #webinar

  • Unmet expectations, difficult clients, disagreeing with a coworker, and so much more can drive wedges between people and teams. Since conflict is part of our regular interactions, it matters how we handle it. Our words and actions amid conflict can build up or tear down our team and our trust. Jennifer Thomas, Ph.D., a clinical and community psychologist and author has experienced and helped clients navigate countless workplace conflicts. Join us for our upcoming Zoom Get-Together this Saturday, October 19 at 10 am Central Time. We’ll learn how to increase teamwork, resolve conflict, and build trust as Jennifer teaches from her newest book Making it Right at Work, coauthored with Dr. Gary Chapman and Paul White. Together, let’s build healthier teams as we do conflict well! You can learn more and register for this online event here: https://lnkd.in/gFpb_8YT
