CMS has announced that Michigan, New York, Oklahoma, and South Carolina will participate in the Innovation in Behavioral Health (IBH) Model, starting January 1, 2025. The IBH Model is designed to bridge the gap between behavioral and physical health as well as health related social needs for people with moderate to severe behavioral health conditions. By supporting integrated care models in outpatient specialty behavioral health settings, CMS and states aim to provide holistic care for people with Medicaid and Medicare. Learn more: go.cms.gov/IBH.
