AI in Education: Building a Global Community
How can we reimagine schools with AI globally? This roundtable is designed to surface new ideas, connect AI enthusiasts and AI-curious educators, and identify shared interests and potential work collaborations around AI in education. CRPE, your host, is driving a national conversation in the United States on AI’s role in reshaping education. We’ll supply the latest research, provocative questions, and two AI “early adopter” systems leaders driving this work on the ground. Join us for a lively and organic discussion of the thorny questions and the enticing potential of AI to reimagine teaching, learning, and our global future.
Speakers: Robin Lake (CRPE), Bree Dusseault (Center on Reinventing Public Education), Babak Mostaghimi, Ed.L.D., MPP Mostaghimi (LearnerStudio), Adrian Bustillos, PhD Bustillos (Aldine ISD).
Equity in the Age of AI: Centering Solutions on the Students Who Need Them Most
AI presents the opportunity to overcome challenges that have long plagued public education, but it’s also filled with uncertainty and risks that must be managed. Hear from educational AI “early adopters” who are centering marginalized learners with AI-driven solutions. They’re piloting ways AI can grow creativity, problem-solving, and civic engagement while correcting gnarly, long-standing educational inequities. What decisions must schools make to ensure AI improves equity in schools rather than widening existing gaps? How is AI rewiring the future workforce, and what can schools do about it? This panel gets into the real stuff: how we must create the conditions now that help us design for a new future.
Speakers: Babak Mostaghimi (LearnerStudio), Adrian Bustillos (Aldine Independent School District), Bree Dusseault (CRPE).
We’re excited about the opportunity to spotlight these critical discussions at SXSW London. Thank you for helping us amplify the importance of equity, innovation, and collaboration in AI-powered education.
Thanks in advance for your support!
P.S. Every vote counts! Share this email with your network and encourage them to vote, too. Let’s bring these vital conversations to the global stage.
