Why do some #breastcancer patients develop resistance to Trastuzumab Deruxtecan (T-DXd)? Caris analyzed WTS, immunohistochemistry, and real-world clinical data from over 2,000 T-DXd-treated breast cancer samples. This multi-omic approach revealed a clinically relevant mechanism of resistance to T-DXd, which is commonly used in the treatment of metastatic HER2-low and HER2-positive breast cancer. Join Dr. George Sledge, Jr., Chief Medical Officer of Caris Life Sciences, at the SABCS Spotlight Poster presentation to discover how these findings may help oncologists tailor more effective treatment plans for breast cancer patients.

What makes metaplastic triple-negative #breastcancer (M-TNBC) so aggressive? Caris and its collaborators conducted a study using WES and WTS to compare the molecular and immunological characteristics of M-TNBC with those of invasive ductal TNBC, a less aggressive tumor type. The findings from this research will be shared today in a Spotlight Poster presentation during #SABCS24. https://lnkd.in/ga9tAZ8

Are there molecular and immunological differences between HER2-low, HER2-ultra-low and HER2-null/negative #breastcancer in males? A study by Caris and collaborators showed that these historically ‘HER2-negative’ subtypes share genomic features but have different tumor immune microenvironments. Learn more about these findings, which expand our current understanding of the HER2 spectrum in male breast cancer, at our poster. #SABCS24 https://lnkd.in/ga9tAZ8

Do the same mutations affect prognosis differently in male and female #breastcancer? A study of WES/WTS data from >17,700 breast tumors by Caris and collaborators found that select mutations have different effects on breast cancer-related survival in men and women. #SABCS24 https://lnkd.in/ga9tAZ8
