This was a treat for me to witness at The F.I.R.E. Conference this month! 🎃 Most are familiar with ROI —Return on Investment — but today, I want to highlight something just as powerful: ROE — Return on Engagement. At its core, ROE measures the value created through meaningful interactions and the emotional connection fostered with an audience. Unlike ROI, which focuses solely on financial returns, ROE captures the intangible yet invaluable aspects of engagement — such as brand loyalty, emotional resonance, and audience participation. At the inaugural F.I.R.E. Conference, I saw this concept come to life. Every woman in the room was fully immersed — heads down, actively drawing and connecting with the program book my team at GPD Creative ➕AI Agency designed. It wasn’t just a conference booklet; it was an experience that invited everyone to engage, reflect, and connect in a unique way. One of the biggest highlights for me was meeting the incomparable Shantell Martin! Her artistry and unique vision truly align with the spirit of creativity and engagement we strive to foster at GPD. Of course, none of this would have been possible without the visionary mother-daughter duo, Barbara Turner, CEO of BT RISE, and Tiffany Coleman. Their commitment to creating impactful spaces for women to connect, learn, and grow is beyond inspiring. I'd also like to thank Ms. Regina Carswell Russo for her partnership and modeling empowering women. I am incredibly grateful to have contributed to their vision and to have been part of such a powerful event. Return on Engagement is about crafting experiences that linger long after the event ends — moments that touch hearts and minds.
