Our Youth Voices program empowered justice and violence-impacted high school youth in L.A. through digital media training and podcast production. Youth who participated in our pilot program had the opportunity to share stories that have the potential to impact their communities, gained new skills in audio production, collaborated in teams, built meaningful relationships, and earned a $500 stipend. As we gear up for an exciting new year, we'd like to take this moment to look back at some of our end-of-year milestones from last month. During the Christmas holiday, we provided 700 families with dinner fixings that included chickens, canned goods, produce, and refreshments during our annual Navidad en el Barrio! We were supported by a team of staff and volunteers who helped us spread holiday cheer to members of our community. We express our gratitude to all of our staff and volunteers for coming together to support our food distribution, and Council District 13 for sponsoring the event.
