    Curious where the search industry is heading to? How AI Overviews will impact search? Have a look at Google's strategy as they pretty much define the search market: According to Google, the links included in the AI overviews get more traffic, so it's a matter of time when everyone will try to compete for their positioning in the AI Overviews as well. That, combined with the ads will likely give Google a massive advantage since they own the search. "With AI Overviews, people are visiting a greater diversity of websites for help with more complex questions. And we see that the links included in AI Overviews get more clicks than if the page had appeared as a traditional web listing for that query. As we expand this experience, we’ll continue to focus on sending valuable traffic to publishers and creators. Ai Overviews is at its early stage and there are a bunch of inconsistencies. However, the industry would eventually transition to AI-driven search and analytics, there's no doubt in it. You need to get ready for this change. ❓ How can I see the AI Overviews❓ 𝗔𝗜 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲: ⭐ To all users in the US who meet the minimum age requirement to manage their own Google account. ⭐ To users above the age of 18 in the UK, India, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, and Japan. ⭐ To users who opted into the “AI Overviews and more” experiment in Search Labs, for all eligible countries, languages and account types. ⭐ AI Overviews will become available to more users, languages, and regions over time. From google documentation: "AI Overviews appear in Google Search results when google systems determine that generative responses can be especially helpful — for example, when you want to quickly understand information from a range of sources, including information from across the web and Google's Knowledge Graph. No action is needed for publishers to benefit from AI Overviews." ❓How do links appear in AI Overviews ❓ AI Overviews show links to resources that support the information in the snapshot, and explore the topic further. This allows people to dig deeper and discover a diverse range of content from publishers, creators, retailers, businesses, and more, and use the information they find to advance their tasks. Google's systems automatically determine which links appear. There is nothing special for creators to do to be considered other than to follow our regular guidance for appearing in search, as covered in Google Search Essentials. Google says: "nothing special, business as usual" but we all know this is not true. You can improve your ranking significantly by optimising your content for AI consumption. AI will serve you ads. Businesses will have another kind of "SEO" to deal with and who knows how your personal data will be treated.     New day-new audit. Today we're looking at how Semrush is represented across the leading AI models. All the 5 models currently integrated into brandpoint.ai are aware of Semrush (see the screenshots below) According to LLAMA 3.1 (8B) Model: Semrush is a digital marketing tool that provides a suite of products for search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and social media management. It offers a range of tools, including keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical SEO audits. It's interesting to see that the model rated this brand higher than the industry average across the board except when it comes to affordability. We also looked at Semrush via Anthropic Claude Sonnet (which usually gives a lot more accurate responses) and it rated Semrush 7 out of 10 due to the variety in pricing options. It also added some specific details: "Semrush serves over 10 million marketing professionals worldwide, including Fortune 500 companies. The platform provides data and insights for improving online visibility across 142 countries and 20 billion keywords. Semrush is known for its comprehensive competitor analysis tools and its ability to help businesses enhance their digital marketing strategies."
