  • Mama said this is better than the Pet Rock her daddy got her for Christmas one year. We agree with Marco: “Knowledge not shared is knowledge lost.” Plus, the video is really cool.

All of the modern stone-removal techniques ultimately yield the same result, a block of stone to be transported out of the quarry to a gang-saw mill or slabbing facility. There are various techniques available to the modern quarrymen to remove the stones. The ones we will touch on are: blasting, jet-burner channeling, diamond-wire saw, wedges and feathers. The majority of blocks have at least two sides that need to be separated from the stone base of the quarry. Therefore, multiple methods are generally used to remove one block of rock. Regardless of the method, stone extraction from the quarry is a delicate process. In order to reach the quarry, dirt may have to be removed, or even tunnels dug to reach the stone. The same stone can take on many different looks just based on how the block is cut and later processed. When the stone is cut with the flow of the source stone, it is referred to as Vein Cut. This cut highlights the movement in the rock. Alternatively if the block is cut against the vein, it is called a Cross-Cut, creating a more uniform look for the stone. • Learnin' doesn't just happen in school, mama says. Concerts and People like Nick you ask for tickets want you know a thing or two. Or 15. We think common sense ain't so common.

Over my 20 years at record companies i have been asked for countless ticket request here are my top 15 complaints 1.  I love when you say Oh, I will pay for them. I hate to break it to you You’re Goddamn Right You’re Paying for them. 2.  NO I cannot get you a deal on tickets. What kind of deal are you looking for???? Tickets cost what they cost. There is no discount 3.  Don’t ask me what the tickets cost. LOOK IT UP. It is your job to know what you are asking for. If you ask me to get you tickets, you can safely assume I am going to pull the top tier P1 tickets. That means whatever the highest price is and add another $150 to and that is what it costs. 4.  If you ask me for tickets and I go through all the trouble to get them for you and now you find out that the tickets are $300.00 per ticket and then say,  "Oh never mind I did not realize they would be so expensive". Pull that move and you will move to the head of the line on THE LIST 5.  YES, you asking me to get you tickets is a massive pain in the ass. 6.  Oh you want 9 tickets all in the front row .... Yea if you think you’re a dick for asking for 9 tickets go with the feeling. 7.  Don’t call me every day because your credit card has not been charged yet. If you don’t like the way I am doing, you a favor please go to Ticketmaster they will charge your card right away. 8.  Call me at the last second to change the name on the tickets or the dates will get you added to THE LIST. 9.  NO I am NOT going to call the promoter to get you a "Deal" on your tickets. Please see line 2. What kind of deal do you think you can get…Dumbass. 10. If you give me a credit card that is maxed out, cancelled or your card is declined you have now just made THE LIST. That’s it, you have blown it...No I don’t want to hear the excuse. You have made me look stupid and now I have to do double the work to fix it. 11. NO, there are no backstage passes with these tickets and NO there is no VIP parking for you either. 12. If you are buying tickets for your best friend’s next-door neighbor’s cleaning woman's cousin’s daughter who is just the biggest Justin Bieber fan, Please DONT CALL ME. I will get tickets for YOU because you are a friend once you get 2-3 people removed, I want no part of it. 13. Parking is YOUR problem. I have done everything for you. Figuring out where to park will be your problem. Put a crowbar in your wallet and pry out a $20 and park. 14. Remember the phrase THANK YOU.     When it is all done and you have your tickets and you have enjoyed the show, a simple Thank You goes a Looooooong way. Everyone will bust my balls for tickets with countless emails and phones calls, but do they ever say Thank You!  NO, THEY DONT If you pull that move more than once and guess what you make THE LIST. 15. If you have not emailed, texted or spoken to me on the phone in the last 6 months DO NOT call and ask me for tickets. If you can’t even maintain a basic friendship do not come around asking for favors.

This beautiful expression conveys an accepting approach to autism, emphasizing that everyone experiences life at their own pace with their own unique perspective. It embodies the Māori commitment to honoring diversity and individual differences, encouraging an understanding of neurodiversity that goes beyond a deficit-based view, focusing instead on inclusion and respect for each person’s distinct way of being. And yet only 7% of companies globally have neurodiversity recruiting plans in place. The current workplace is not set up for the neurodiverse to succeed, and they often encounter bias from others who dismiss them because they don’t follow the norm. This is a huge opportunity for companies, because when the neurodiverse are aligned with jobs they are most qualified for–they outperform their peers. Embracing neurodiversity in the workplace is not just a matter of inclusivity; it's a strategic advantage. Companies that foster a neurodiverse environment, appreciating the unique perspectives and talents of individuals with diverse neurological conditions, are often more innovative and creative.

  • What makes an artist brand partnership successful? A good brand partnership is a win-win situation that aligns with the goals of both brands and provides mutual benefits (Mama says "win-win" is still just one victory and not two. I don't understand why) 1. Shared audience: The brands target the same audience or demographics. (Like when Walmart targets the folks who like baby back ribs and then someone totally different who likes bbq sauce) 2. Complementary products or services: The brands offer products or services that complement each other. (Mama says both should be offered at Walmart or no deal) 3. Shared values: The brands share similar principles, values, or ethics. (Mama says like when Baptists partner with Methodists anyway) 4. Clear goals: Both brands understand the goals of the partnership and how they will contribute to achieving them. (Mama said this is stupid cause everyone knows this already) 5. Cohesive marketing: The brands create a cohesive marketing campaign that makes sense to the consumer. (Mama says if it don't make sense use more sticky tape) 6. Trust: The brands build trust with consumers by partnering with reputable brands. Mama said tell each other where the body is buried and it stays missing. 7. Added value: The partnership adds intrinsic value to the product or service that each brand offers. (Mama's math works here: 1+1=3) 8. Testing:  The partnership works prior to launch. (Mama calls this "seein who can take a punch")

  • We love how brands are increasingly focusing on education and offering immersive experiences. It's more than just an internship—they're entrusting participants with meaningful responsibilities, which is no small commitment for the brand. I hope to see them expand these opportunities to include pre-college students and recent high school graduates, offering even broader experiences.  The Rivian story focuses on the career development journey of Emily Bidgood, who transitioned from an intern to a full-time role. It highlights the growth opportunities available at Rivian, emphasizing mentorship, skills development, and the collaborative company culture that supports early career employees. The piece showcases Rivian's commitment to fostering talent and creating an environment where innovation and learning thrive. https://lnkd.in/gjx4eBmY #EarlyCareer #CultivateNextGeneration #realLifeExperience
