🚨 Change isn’t coming. It’s already here. 🚨 In the blue-collar space, we’re staring down the barrel of transformation. But here’s the truth: being open to it isn’t enough. 💡 Mindset matters. You can wait for change to disrupt your world—or you can drive it yourself. As leaders, it’s our responsibility to: ▪️ Adopt the mindset that sets us up for success. ▪️ Adapt our teams, strategies, and systems. ▪️ Lead our industry into the future. The two biggest pitfalls? 1️⃣ Moving too fast and leaving your team behind. 2️⃣ Moving too slow and getting left behind yourself. The balance lies in growth. Growth inspires people. Growth builds teams. Growth defines the future. ⚙️ In this era of rapid tech and industry evolution, the blue-collar world doesn’t just need to catch up—it needs to lead. Together, we can make change our greatest strength. What’s one way you’re driving change in your business? Let’s talk. ⬇️ #Leadership #Growth #Mindset #BlueCollarTransformation #AdaptOrDie

⚠️ Your priorities aren’t what you say—they’re what you show. Where you spend your time and money reveals what truly matters to you. In the latest episode of Blue Is The New White, Ben Poole of HVAC Tactical ™️ shares a thought-provoking perspective on success and priorities. He challenges us to reflect on how we spend our time and money, and whether it aligns with what we say is important in our lives. Ben also highlights the polarizing differences surrounding social media. Those who lift you up and those who hold you back 👉 successful people who have “made it” will encourage and inspire you, while those who haven’t will try to keep you down. 🎧 This episode is packed with insights on mindset, motivation, and taking control of your priorities. If you’re ready to align your actions with your goals and surround yourself with the right people, don’t miss this conversation! 😎 Humility = Swagger In a world often obsessed with status and competition, there’s something refreshing about leaders who emphasize humility and collaboration. Nick Cribb, President of SAM Service INC, embodies this mindset, inspiring others to embrace their role in building a winning team—where everyone contributes, and no one is too proud to help another succeed. He talks about how the willingness to share best practices within the industry, even with competitors, creates an environment where everyone can be their best. It’s about lifting others up and driving collective growth, not individual recognition. As Nick says in the episode, “Just be cool to people. Humility actually equals swagger.” 👉 For those leading teams or running businesses, this idea challenges the notion of "winning at all costs" and instead focuses on fostering unity, humility, and a shared sense of purpose. True leadership is about seeing the bigger picture and helping everyone cross the finish line together. Listen to the full episode to see how all this ties into CFESA and our shared experience of being on the board. #smallbusiness #Leadership #Humility #Collaboration #bluecollar #skilledtrades

📣📣 Let's talk about 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 for a moment. As many of you know, I'm a passionate advocate for blue-collar skilled trades. Starting my journey as a technician and transitioning into an entrepreneur has given me a unique perspective on our industry and the incredible people who drive it forward. While I've contributed through writing a book 📖 and hosting a podcast 🎙 , two years ago I decided to take a more hands-on approach by running for a position on the CFESA board. To my humble surprise, the members entrusted me with this role, and it has been an enriching experience ever since. Over these past two years, I've had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most dedicated and visionary individuals committed to advancing the food service equipment repair industry. Together, we've achieved significant milestones: - 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 initiatives to make them more accessible and effective for our members. - 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧'𝐬 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬, 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 to better serve and represent our community. - 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 to enhance visibility across the trades and support our members' growth. - 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐝𝐮𝐞𝐬 to create a more equitable and logical system that reflects our association's diverse contributors. - 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 by engaging with companies beyond North America, moving closer to becoming a truly international association. - 𝐒𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥 to issue 33,000 training certificates by 2033, reinforcing our commitment to education and excellence. While some of these initiatives are still unfolding, I'm incredibly grateful to be part of this journey and witness the positive impact we're making 🙏 The takeaway? Seeking success, fulfillment, or purpose requires more than just intention—it demands 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. It's about rolling up your sleeves and contributing meaningfully to the causes you care about. As I stand for re-election at this year's annual conference, I look forward to the possibility of continuing this important work alongside my esteemed colleagues, serving our incredible community. And if new faces join the board, I have full confidence they'll bring the same passion and drive. A heartfelt thank you to the CFESA board and everyone who supports our mission. Upward, onward, and let’s go to work! 💪 🛠 #skilledtrades #bluecollar #cfesa #careers #hvac #refrigeration #foodequipment

We talk a lot about success, but this is one of the most insightful responses we've gotten... 👉 Even though we may understand how ridiculous it sounds, do we have unrealistic expectations of success? ▪️ Does it solve our problems? ▪️ Does it make the pain go away? ▪️ Does it even bring the fulfillment we seek? Elements of success feel great, but for some it just causes the goalpost to move again. And again. And again. 🚨 Send this clip to someone who you know to be "successful" and ask them. And make sure to check out the full "can't miss" episode With Tripp Lanier. Live now! #bluecollar #skilledtrades #smallbusiness #careers #employeedevelopment

🚨 Come straight out and ask your customer what you're doing wrong. Satisfaction surveys are great at framing feedback in specific ways, but often times customers don't want to "frame" anything. They just want to be honest. Which is GREAT news for you because the truth is the only thing you need in order to improve. So, sure, have the 👍 👎 or 😀 ☹️ but make sure you're as blunt as possible when you ask "what are we bad at." The truth will set you free! You can teach what 57% of employers say is more important than technical ability... SOFT SKILLS.
