About us
The Baltimore City Mayor's Office of Employment Development (MOED) coordinates and directs workforce development iniatives responsive to the needs of area employers and job seekers in order to enhance and promote the local economy. Businesses need workers who are educated, skilled and ready to contribute to company success. MOED works on both sides of this equation, assisting Baltimroe citizens in building fulfulling careers and helping area businesses find the qualified workers they need to gain a competitative edge.
