ARC Clinical Research is currently enrolling for a study to learn more about how well a new medication works compared to usual care alone for people with early symptoms of Alzheimer’s Disease in the real world. ARC is one of the many study centers in the United States participating in this research study. If you take part in the Trailblazer Study, you will receive usual care alone. Usual care represents the standard of care that you would receive outside of a research setting. You may be able to take part if you: ✔️ Are 60 years of age or older ✔️ Are under care for presumed mild cognitive impairment or mild dementia stage of Alzheimer’s Disease ✔️ Have a reliable study partner who you are in frequent contact with (and who will be available by telephone at designated times) Learn more about the study at ARCclinicalresearch.com.

Thyroid nodules are often benign, but early evaluation is key to determining the right course of treatment. Palak B. Patel, MD, ENT at ARC Round Rock, emphasizes, “While thyroid nodules are common and often benign, their treatment depends on the presence of symptoms, size, and risk of cancer.” If you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms like neck swelling or difficulty swallowing, it’s important to consult with an ENT specialist for proper diagnosis and care. Austin Regional Clinic thanks America's Physician Groups for recognizing ARC and Ascension Seton Health Alliance for the important work we do each day taking care of our senior community. As partners in the Ascension Seton Accountable Care Organization (ACO) our physicians, advanced practice clinicians (APCs), and staff work together to coordinate care for our patients with Medicare insurance. We are thankful we are recognized year after year by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for being in the top 15% of all ACOs in the nation. Measured by quality, patient satisfaction, and total cost of care metrics, our success demonstrates that we keep our patients healthier and more supported. We accomplish this exceptional care through our coordinated population health efforts and our enhanced access to primary and specialty care. Every physician, APC, staff member, and administrative person at ARC has a sense of pride knowing this recognition is a result of our ongoing commitment to delivering the highest quality care that all our patients need, expect, and receive.
Physician-led groups focused on primary care - including many of APG's member organizations - continue to produce top results in the Medicare Shared Savings Program (#MSSP). APG applauds the efforts of all the #ACOs working to provide superior care and improve health, while reducing costs for government and taxpayers to the tune of $2.1 billion in net savings.
