Auburn University Society for Human Resource Management (AUSHRM) Chapter 5005 The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is a national, professional organization, which promotes the field of Human Resources by providing educational and informational services to its members. The AUSHRM chapter encourages careers in the HR field and shows students how the human resources management profession works. Activities include speakers, field trips to local plants and philanthropy events.

EEOC investigators reinforced the importance HR and managers play in preventing discrimination in the workplace.
