Branding + Marketing. To know truth, to make beauty, to do good.
About us
Atomicdust is a brand and design consultancy. We’re dedicated to solving business problems through strategies, identities, experiences and environments that are as purposeful as they are beautiful. ____ Design is a conversation between a brand and its audience. We believe a clear, focused message comes first. We craft meaningful conversations for our clients that reach their audience in relatable and resonating ways. With a sound, strategic voice in place, we give even the most complicated, technical business-to-business brands room to show, tell, share (and yes, even sell) their strengths. We build compelling, emotional stories that inject clarity and beauty into brands, making them more accessible. And successful. Branding | Websites | Marketing Services

The first flight. The moon landing. Construction of the Gateway Arch. What do they all have in common? Crane Agency was there. Or at least, the insurance agency was helping people and businesses pursue new ideas and achieve big things—just like they have been for more than 100 years. An old-school ad campaign just made sense. See how we developed Crane’s latest campaign in the comments. #insurancemarketing #b2bmarketing

DIDION International Inc. brings a revolutionary approach to metal processing equipment—literally. Their innovative, heavy-duty drums use rotational force to clean metal more effectively and sustainably than other options on the market. We knew that rotational force is an important differentiator—so we put it at the center of the brand. It's represented everywhere from brand visuals and graphic devices to messaging and marketing copy. The new system is proof that even in a technical, industrial space like DIDION's, creative and unexpected brand elements can work wonders. We'll put a link in the comments where you can see more. Otherwise we'll just keep talking about the project, going on and on and on...

A vibrant, globally inspired school deserves a colorful, inclusive brand. Classes at St. Louis Language Immersion School are taught in two languages: English, and either Spanish, Mandarin or French. Students leave with a wider view of the world, appreciation for different cultures, and proficiency in multiple languages. We were thrilled to get to create a brand that celebrates it all.

Let's take a moment to celebrate subtle brand evolutions. A new name, bold design changes, drastically different positioning—that's all great. But it's not always necessary. Sometimes, understated but strategic adjustments can make a big difference. Like when the team at Rottler wanted to refresh their brand without losing any of the brand equity and recognition they'd built up over decades. We rolled out nuanced visual updates and refined the messaging. The impact is all in the details; to the untrained eye, you might not notice some of the changes. But all together, the results are modern, professional and friendly... just like the pros at Rottler. So let's toast the unsung heroes of marketing: the refreshes that don't always get the spotlight, but do get something even better—results.
