David is also the founder of the Atlanta Tech Village—the United States’ 4th largest tech hub—and Atlanta Ventures. David is also the lead investor in Calendly, the world’s most popular scheduling app. After selling Pardot, he was named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year winner and one of the 100 Most Influential Atlantans by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. David is a member of YPO Southern 7, on the boards of the Metro Atlanta Chamber, the Buckhead Coalition, and the Westminster Schools. When your son has an entrepreneurial spirit, you attend a startup event together, right? Luca Schittone and I enjoyed watching new startups pitch at the Atlanta Tech Village, an incubator for many entrepreneurs (and successful startups that include Calendly, Salesloft and BitPay, among others). And even better when one of the judges is the talented Jacqui C. who also runs the TEDxAtlanta / Ideas into Action. I have so much respect for those in startup mode who knows that it takes a village to bring their business to life.
