KEEP MOVING FORWARD. Shoutout to the ATT Team! An incredible December in the garage, and what a way to close out 2024! A massive THANK YOU to the December Squad for bringing the energy, attacking every practice, and continuing to exemplify what the garage and the ATT brand are all about! Nothing better than a group of athletes working hard, going fast on the erg, and having fun along the way. That’s what winter training is all about. Keep Steppin’ Into It, Everyone! The group in the garage may be the face, but the ATT Team is all over the country! Can’t wait to keep the momentum going in January! 2025 is gonna be a *fast* one! “THERE’S A FEARLESSNESS THERE THAT’S LIKE… IF SOMEONE ELSE CAN DO IT, WHETHER OR NOT IT’S TRUE, IF YOU THINK THEY CAN DO IT, THEN YOU CAN DO IT.” Unbelievable conversation with three-time Olympian and 2004 Olympic Gold Medalist, Bryan Volpenhein, on the At The Thousand Podcast, as we deep dive into his journey from college walk-on to Olympic champion! In this episode we discuss… *The skillsets and mindset Bryan developed before even starting rowing, and the “nothing to lose” mentality that led to his early success as a college walk-on. *The belief that to be truly successful at something, you have to take risks and go all in on it. *The shift in training from the 2000 Olympics to the 2004 Olympics, and the evolution they had as a boat that led to an Olympic Gold. I encourage any athlete or coach who is looking to truly learn about the mentality required to be successful as an elite athlete, to give this a listen! Bryan’s path from walk-on to Olympian is incredibly inspiring, and there are so many actionable takeaways young athletes can learn from it! Take notes… this is a good one! Go to the LINK BELOW for the FULL EPISODE! https://lnkd.in/efrpazXd And be sure to FOLLOW the podcast as we have a MASSIVE 2025 coming up! #rowing #rowingpodcast Bryan Volpenhein

In this first week we focused on… *Erg Development, by developing a deeper understanding and appreciation for the machine *Building our Athletic Foundation with Strength Training & Athletic Movements *Owning our Erg Numbers and exposing ourselves to the 2k distance We worked hard… but the athletes came in every day willing to learn, embrace new challenges, and be held accountable for every stroke and every rep. And when the energy is high, and athletes are motivated to learn… the sky’s the limit on how far we can grow in the winter. We Train Different Here. And we are just getting started! Week Two coming up! Learn more about our Winter Program here! https://lnkd.in/gn2kbd4C #rowing #wintertraining #rowingcoach
