Anteris, in partnership with leading imaging expert Dr. Pankaj Garg, is pioneering the growing evidence of the importance of healthy, laminar flow in TAVR. Yesterday at London Valves Dr. Garg presented cutting-edge cardiac MRI analyses, which compared flow dynamics and LV function between DurAVR® THV recipients and a healthy control group. These promising data highlight the potential of DurAVR® THV to mimic the performance of a healthy aortic valve as a result of the valve's biomimetic design. At PCR London Valves, Dr. Andreas Rück will present about his experience with DurAVR® THV in a rare TAV-in-TAV-in-SAV case from earlier this year. The DurAVR® valve was implanted via compassionate use approval in Sweden. Dr. Rück will present case footage and firsthand insights. “DurAVR® allowed us to treat a patient who was deemed unsuitable for surgical intervention or in fact other TAVRs. The device was easy to use and allowed us to implant the valve in a predictable way. Yesterday Dr. Amar Krishnaswamy presented the latest MRI data analysis demonstrating restoration of healthy laminar flow with DurAVR® THV and the impact on the left ventricle.
