(the lime iced tea is amazing btw!) Watching how Beaverton city leaders listened and responded to our questions about everything from cracked sidewalks to crackling fireworks, was truly inspiring.🔥 My personal connection to Beaverton runs deep. My mother dedicated over 30 years to GTE, now Verizon, and my grandmother was one of the first hires at Intel Corporation in neighboring Hillsboro. Though my career in journalism took me away, my heart never strayed far from this community. Seeing our city evolve and grow is beyond exciting. 🌆 If you want to be part of meaningful progress, get involved and ask the hard questions. Let's not lose that spark of curiosity.
