About us
American Addiction Centers (AAC) is a nationwide, leading provider of substance abuse treatment, offering a full continuum of care. We take a holistic approach to addiction treatment — by addressing each client as a whole person. We work to consider how factors such as an individual’s lifestyle, environment, health, and co-occurring mental health disorders may play a part in his or her addiction to drugs or alcohol. We use evidence-based treatment approaches to help individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders to overcome daily struggles and establish a healthy lifestyle. In addition to AAC’s comprehensive treatment approach that is offered in 8 states throughout the U.S., we also own and operate Addiction Labs, a laboratory tailored to meet the unique testing and monitoring challenges often faced in addiction treatment. Furthermore, we have three corporate offices with our headquarters located in Brentwood, Tennessee. American Addiction Centers is constantly building our brand and expanding our treatment services to meet the needs of those struggling with substance use and mental health disorders. In order to accomplish this, we need top talented professionals in all departments to help us not only achieve our business goals, but to also continue rescuing those battling addiction. We’d love to have your join our team! See our open positions at www.americanaddictioncenters.org/careers. Learn more about American Addiction Centers at www.americanaddictioncenters.org. Beyond caring for patients, we're passionate about advocating for those struggling with the disease of addiction. 💙 Last week, Senator Robyn Kennedy held her Winter Fundraising Reception at The White Room in Worcester. The event was co-hosted by Jim McGovern Congressman , State Senator Michael Moore, State Representatives Kate Donaghue, Dan Donahue, David LeBoeuf, John Mahoney & Jim O'Day. Andrea Dayotas, Executive Director of our MA treatment facility, AdCare Hospital, attended the event with Jeff Turiczek, Division Executive Director-East. Andrea and Jeff were joined by David Matteodo, Executive Director for the Massachusetts Association of Behavioral Health Systems. Robyn's work on bills MA S1539, MA S884, and membership of the Mental Health, Substance Use and Recovery Joint Committee helps to support our mission at AdCare Hospital, American Addiction Centers. In addition, we had the opportunity to meet with State Representative Jim O'Day, laying down the foundation for Chapter 258 - Act to increase opportunities for long-term substance abuse recovery. AdCare Hospital is excited to welcome both Senator Kennedy and Representative O'Day, a longstanding advocate of SUD treatment, to the facility early next year to discuss opportunities to further support individuals struggling with addiction. 💙 #AddictionRecovery #MakeADifference
