  • This Veterans Day, we’re honored to recognize all Veterans for their sacrifices and dedication to our country. Hear from Dan Laguna, Army Veteran, REACH Pilot and 2024 GMR Stars of Life recipient who is being recognized for a lifetime of service including the EMS industry and the military. “Veterans Day holds a special place in my heart. It’s a day when we pause to honor the brave who’ve served our country with unwavering dedication. I spent thirty years in the Army, and I had the opportunity to work alongside some of the best and bravest America has to offer. Their service has been the foundation of our freedom. They’ve stood guard in times of peace and fought valiantly in times of war. They’ve missed birthdays, holidays and countless precious moments with their loved ones. They’ve endured hardships most can barely comprehend, all to ensure that we can live in a land of liberty and opportunity. Their unwavering commitment to duty, honor and country inspires us all. It should remind us that freedom comes at a great cost, paid for by the brave souls who’ve answered the call to serve. As we think about their service on this hallowed day, let’s also consider how we can honor their legacy. Saying “Thank You for Your Service” once a year isn’t enough. We must strive to be worthy of the freedoms they’ve protected, to make sure no Veteran feels forgotten or left behind. We can do this by showing our gratitude, whether it’s through volunteering at VA hospitals, supporting Veteran-owned businesses, or simply taking the time to listen to a Veteran’s story. To all our Veterans: Thank you. Thank you for your service, your sacrifice and your unwavering commitment to our nation. May God bless you, and may God bless the United States of America.” #VeteransDay2024 https://ow.ly/J4Im50U4yXY

As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering lifesaving care, GMR has invested in new aircraft that will enhance our ability to service patients in remote, underserved regions, ensuring that advanced medical care is accessible whenever and wherever it’s needed most. Over the next three years, we will invest in 43 new helicopters with options for 33 more. We have committed to purchasing 28 Airbus helicopters consisting of the H125, H130, H135 and H145, as well as 15 Bell Flight 407GXi helicopters. These aircraft will enhance operational safety through intuitive controls and refined navigation, making them ideal for more challenging environments our teams may encounter on lifesaving missions. “Expanding our fleet allows us to bridge gaps in healthcare access,” said GMR CEO Nick Loporcaro. “This investment reinforces our commitment to being there when every second counts, ensuring patients have rapid access to advanced medical care, no matter where they are.” https://ow.ly/FEtV50U3rlL
