About us

* Air University Press (AU Press) is part of Air University's (AU) Academic Services and is the publisher for AU and the US Air Force. Since 1953, it has edited, published, and distributed over 1.1 million student papers, curriculum texts, faculty research pieces, journals, and scholarly books to further thought critical to the intellectual growth of the Air Force. * Our journal products include Air & Space Power Journal, the flagship professional publication of the US Air Force. We also produce Strategic Studies Quarterly, a forum for strategic-level discussions about national and international security policies and evolving defense strategies. Additional publications include Journal of the Americas (JotA), Journal of European, Middle Eastern, and African Affairs (JEMEA), Journal of Indo-Pacific Affairs (JIPA), and Wild Blue Yonder (WBY). JotA is a forum for original research articles and review articles seeking to stimulate professional dialogue on Air and Space Power among the members of the Armed Forces of the Americas, historians, professors, and the general public. JEMEA is a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal cutting across both the social sciences and airpower operational art and strategy. JIPA is a forum for worldwide dialogue regarding the Indo–Pacific region, spanning from the west coasts of the Americas to the eastern shores of Africa and covering much of Asia and all of Oceania. WBY is a peer-reviewed online journal and forum focused on how to reshape the way we think about air, space, cyberspace, and the multi-domain. These editions are published quarterly in print and electronic format. * Air University Press is a proud member of the Association of University Presses. We are part of a community of publishing professionals and institutions committed to the highest caliber of research-based scholarship and advocate for the fundamental role of scholarly publishing in achieving academic excellence and cultivating and disseminating knowledge.
