As I reflect on this last quarter of the year, one key highlight stands out: attending the Annual American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Conference back in October. What made this experience extra special was the transition from attending as a law student to attending as a lawyer. This milestone not only marked the start of a new chapter in my career but also pushed me beyond my comfort zone in the best ways possible. I am incredibly grateful for the connections made along the way and the invaluable insights gained at the conference. Events like these remind me of the importance of growth, community, and stepping into spaces that challenge and inspire us.

Originally from Mexico, Mauricio is passionate about pursuing patent law because of his fascination with technological innovation and the complexities of the legal system. When it comes to role models, Mauricio looks up to his mother. Her resilience, kindness, and ability to maintain a positive outlook, even during challenging times, inspire him every day.
