At Alera Group, Inc. Group, we believe that healthcare goes beyond insurance—it’s about fostering innovative solutions that promote healthier, more sustainable communities. That’s why we’re so proud to partner with organizations like Harrisburg University of Science and Technology University and Phoenix Contact, who share this vision. On November 21, these two incredible organizations hosted the international premiere of “Growing Tomorrow”, a groundbreaking documentary exploring how aquaponics, hydroponics, and controlled environment agriculture can address food insecurity in Pennsylvania and beyond. Alera Group celebrates the collective efforts of Harrisburg University of Science and TechnologyPhoenix Contact, Steelton-Highspire School District, Greenswell Growers, and Downtown Daily Bread for making this project a reality and inspiring us all to reimagine the future of agriculture. Together, we’re growing healthier tomorrows for our communities. 🌱 #AleraGroup #GrowingTomorrow #CommunityImpact #InnovationInAgriculture

Members of the Alera Group team came together to make a difference during our Hot Chocolate Bar for a Cause! The event was a perfect blend of community support and camaraderie. Here's what we accomplished together: 👉 For Caitlin's Smiles: We tapped into our creativity by decorating bags with art supplies. These bags were later used to pack activities for children currently hospitalized, bringing them a little joy during tough times. 👉 For Christian Churches United of the Tri-County Area: We hosted a drink drive, collecting essentials like ground coffee, hot chocolate mix, sugar, creamer, and more to support their efforts. This event was a reminder that stepping away from spreadsheets and Zoom screens to connect with colleagues can lead to meaningful contributions. Let’s continue to find ways to share warmth—both in our cups and in our communities! ❤️ #CommunityImpact #Teamwork #AleraGroup #HotChocolateForACause

🌟 Proud of the Alera Group Mechanicsburg team, who recently volunteered as Guest Chefs at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central PA! They prepared 50 dinners for families with seriously ill children receiving care at nearby hospitals. The Ronald McDonald House provides a much-needed home-away-from-home, offering families comfort and support during challenging times. By stepping in to prepare meals, our team helped ease the daily stress for these families, allowing them to focus on what matters most—their children. ❤️ #AleraGroup #CommunitySupport #GivingBack #RonaldMcDonaldHouse

Yesterday, our AIA, Alera Group team came together to assemble craft kits for CAITLINS SMILES. These kits provide pediatric patients with fun arts-and-crafts activities. The children, their families, medical staff, and Caitlin’s Smiles volunteers all benefit from the joy these gifts bring. The kits are delivered to medical facilities and distributed to the children. It was a wonderful way to bond as a team while making a positive impact. To learn more about Caitlin’s Smiles, visit their website https://lnkd.in/eK744N_S

Reading proficiency by third grade is the most important predictor of high school graduation. Yet every year, more than 80 percent of low-income children miss this crucial milestone. United Way of the Capital Region is committed to changing this statistic. To help this effort, AIA, Alera Group hosted a social paired with Book Drive to benefit United Way of the Capital Region’s Ready for School, Ready to Succeed school readiness program.
