#ICYMI Last week, we announced the Final Investment Decision for the second Cyclyx Circularity Center. Agilyx CEO, Ranjeet Bhatia said, "We are thrilled to achieve this important milestone in expanding the CCC network. Combined, CCC1 and CCC2 will have the capacity to produce an estimated 600 million pounds of plastic feedstock annually. This investment helps redirect plastic waste away from landfills, integrating it into a circular economy as valuable feedstock for all plastic recyclers.” As part of its strategy, Cyclyx continues to explore the development of additional CCCs, each placed in major hubs across the United States. Congratulations, ExxonMobil our partner in joint venture Cyclyx International, LLC., for their announcement to plan further investments in the advanced recycling sector, increasing advanced recycling rates and diverting plastic from landfills! An investment of $200 million in their Texas facilities will add 350 million pounds per year of advanced recycling capacity, proving advanced recycling works at scale, helping establish a circular economy for plastics and reducing plastic waste. The company plans to reach a global recycling capacity of 1 billion pounds per year by 2027. We are proud to be working together in the advanced recycling sector, from collection to sortation and advanced recycling, recovering the value of plastic waste and together working towards a circular economy for plastics. https://lnkd.in/eDu83Pvy
