Recently, our leadership team was honored to present at the Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute Conference to key stakeholders in the PBM industry discussing the critical rise in lawsuits and risks facing employers and plan sponsors. Some key highlights included: ⚫ PBMs are increasingly being drawn into lawsuits by plan participants and sponsors. ⚫ The top 3 PBMs are under investigation and facing broad anti-trust lawsuits. ⚫ Employers, as health plan fiduciaries, must align with PBM partners to uphold their fiduciary obligations.
