One of our core pillars of community engagement is supporting the children in our community. That’s why we’re proud to have partnered with the Stormont Vail Health Foundation to make a difference for the tiniest and most vulnerable members of our community. Our recent donation, alongside donations from other local donors, is helping the NICU at Stormont Vail upgrade essential equipment and resources, including modern isolettes, new recliners, and advanced training simulators. We’re also honored that our Creative Director, Kevin Johnston, designed a custom mural for the NICU hallway. This colorful artwork, featuring baby animals and a Kansas landscape, is a beacon of hope and comfort for families during a challenging time. The Stormont NICU serves families from across Northeast Kansas, and we’re grateful to play a small part in providing care and support to those who need it most. 💚
Last Tuesday, the Stormont Vail Health Foundation hosted an event in the #NICU in celebration of recent donations made by Advisors Excel and other local donors. The donations will be used to upgrade resources and equipment including the installation of modern isolettes for infants, new recliners for mothers and families, and a cutting-edge training simulator to ensure medical teams remain at the forefront of neonatal care. In addition to the upgrades, a custom mural in the hallway leading to the unit was also gifted to the NICU. Created by Advisors Excel Creative Director Kevin Johnston, this vibrant artwork, featuring playful baby animals against a Kansas landscape, is designed to uplift the spirits of all who enter and exit the NICU, providing a sense of comfort and hope during a challenging time. The power of the community coming together to support one another is truly remarkable, and this year's Season of Sharing is a prime example of that. Thanks to the unwavering dedication and kindness of staff and community partners, we were able to provide a wide range of essential items to those in need. These items ranged from medical equipment to beds to glasses, lift recliners, appliances, and a front porch repair. We are grateful to have worked with so many outstanding community partners to grant 37 wishes, impacting 108 individuals. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the following community partners who contributed their time and resources to help us grant these wishes: Golden Rule Design & Build Kaw Valley Heating & Cooling Professional Hearing Aid Associates The EyeDoctors (3627 Southeast 29th St, Topeka, KS) Lowe's Home Improvement - Topeka Family Tree Care Alliance Rehab and Medical Equipment Furniture Mall Topeka Metro Affordable Dentures & Implants - Topeka Local schools and non-profit agencies for nominating families for this program Our staff then adopted 70 families, impacting 258 individuals in the community. We are grateful for the wonderful opportunity we have to give to those in our community and help make their holiday season a little brighter.

🗓️ AE Leadership Summit 📍 Charlotte, North Carolina We can’t believe we’ve officially wrapped up our last event of 2024! We ended the year on a high note at our AE Leadership Summit. The week began with reconnecting at our Fireside Fest, followed by dinner at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. We then spent a full day on campus at High Point University, one of the nation’s most prestigious private universities, where we heard from their University President, Dr. Nido R. Qubein, and other industry influencers. To close out the week, we were inspired by hospitality expert Will Guidara, author of Unreasonable Hospitality and co-producer of the hit series The Bear. It was the perfect way to end 2024, and we’re SO excited for what’s to come in 2025!
