We won! Today Advanced Thermovoltaic Systems was awarded The Earthshot Prize in the category of Fix Our Climate. The award, announced at the Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony in Cape Town, South Africa, recognizes ATS for our ability to capture and convert industrial waste heat into sustainable electricity without the need for moving parts. This recognition from Prince William and the Earthshot community fuels our vision of what’s possible when innovation pushes boundaries. As one of five winners selected from nearly 2,500 nominees across 75 countries, ATS will receive a £1 million prize to further scale our reach to fight emissions and bring circular energy to new heights. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Prince William and The Earthshot Prize Council for this honour, Herbert Smith Freehills for nominating us, Holcim for being such a great strategic partner, and to all the incredible Finalists that are working tirelessly to repair our planet.
