It’s not just about the kids ACEing Autism serves, but the volunteers it inspires. "ACEing Autism helped me develop leadership qualities and a greater perspective on inclusion, support and advocacy for individuals with autism and other disabilities," Ellie LoPiccolo, who has always been very close to her sister Maddie, explained. "I admires Maddie's sociability and bubbly personality, which has taught me patience and taking things one step at a time," Ellie who has enjoyed developing problem-solving skills through ACEing Autism said. We’re deeply grateful to the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism, Inc. for their continued partnership and support over the years. A huge congratulations to Mira Tamir Spiegel and her team for their amazing efforts, raising $3,464 for ACEing Autism! "Special thanks to Rebecca and Peter for their virtual participation and donations—Peter would’ve joined in person, but the Flutie 5K sold out this year!" Mira explained. "With 20 people attending in person, it was an incredible day, " Mira continued. Here’s to many more years of collaboration and impact! 🎾 "Maddie has learned that with effort and perseverance, she can achieve anything! After just a few swings, she’s hitting volleys and getting the ball over the net," her mother Sandy said. "Tennis has become a special activity for our family, thanks to ACEing Autism. It’s not often we find something we can all enjoy together, but this program has brought us to the court as a team. Maddie plays, her big sister Ellie volunteers, and we love cheering them on from the sidelines." Beyond tennis, Maddie has made new friends, and we’ve had the chance to connect with other parents and share experiences courtside. Watching her confidence grow on and off the court is the real win for us. 🏅 Share how ACEing Autism has impacted your family by tagging ACEing Autism 501(c)3! 📸: Joy Yagid . . . #asd #autism #autismacceptance #inclusion #neurodiversity #neurodivergent #holidayseason #asd
