It’s always exciting to step out of the office and into the field. Our supply chain team recently visited a Prologis warehouse in NYC to spend time with one of their customer’s impressive warehousing operations. The visit provided invaluable firsthand insights into the daily challenges and opportunities in warehouse logistics. Engaging directly with the teams driving these operations fuels our ability to innovate and solve key problems within the supply chain ecosystem. Joanna Strober, one of our remarkable portfolio company founders, was invited to the White House to speak about the importance of funding women’s healthcare. Joanna founded Midi Health, a virtual care platform focused on female midlife health. Designed by world-class experts, Midi addresses the lack of accessible, affordable care for perimenopause, menopause, and related health needs. They’re building the healthcare the world truly needs. Moments like this remind us why we do what we do—backing visionary leaders who are driving real change. Congratulations to Joanna and the entire Midi team on this incredible honor!

Demo Day was one for the books. Attendees were treated to a thought-provoking and insightful conversation on talent and entrepreneurship between best-selling author Malcolm Gladwell and 25madison’s Chairman, Michael Lynton. A standout moment was Malcolm's perspective on interviewing, shaped by his experience in journalism. He noted that to truly uncover the whole picture about a candidate, he would unequivocally choose to speak with their friends and those in their life over speaking directly to the person.

Merrill Anovick and Shawn Dastmalchi joined Vic Gatto of Jumpstart Capital, a Gratia Health investor, to discuss the crisis we're facing in the nursing profession. In partnership with ScionHealth, Gratia is helping hospitals better compensate, reward, and develop nurses leading to happier employees and better care outcomes. 

Bringing our supply chain team, dispersed across states, together in Tennessee last week for in-person strategy sessions was a fantastic opportunity to align and collaborate. Great seeing everyone!

What a fantastic event! A big thank you to the Claritas Capital team for hosting and the Holland & Knight LLP team for organizing such a thoughtful discussion on the State of Digital Health. Ryan M. spoke on the panel alongside Tania Jovanovic Grant (Claritas Capital) and Tyson Bickley (Holland & Knight LLP), with Baxter Lee (Clearwater) moderating. They shared incredible insights into the future of the industry. One key takeaway? Despite challenges, the panelists expressed optimism about 2025, noting there’s dry powder waiting to fund high-performing companies.
