I think asking for honest feedback is huge when it comes to getter better at your craft. Learn to take criticism and make changes to improve every time. Your clients/customers will also feel valued and heard when you honestly ask them for their feedback.

Don't be naive in accepting the reality of building a product and a business. Be honest with yourself and others of your limitations. Create appropriate roles and responsibilities that match the needs of the future business you are building. Your job as a member of the founding team is to ensure your company never runs out of money.
