If changes to your writing are taking too long, here’s how to keep your project on time: 1. Add some extra days in your plan for any changes that need to be made. 2. Remind the client politely to give their changes quickly. 3. Finish other tasks while waiting for the changes. 4. Decide on how many changes can be made to keep things moving.

1 thing that should be clearly discussed with clients to ensure project timeline stays on track is: Clear Revision Guidelines There should be clear revision guidelines regarding the project, advisable few days before the project deadline. One thing I always find helpful is talking to the client about providing prompt feedback. Once the client signs off on the first couple of pieces keeping the project on track does become easier. In the recent past, the emergence of AI detectors does pose an additional challenge. Often clients or their publishing teams check the content for AI much later, usually after the deadline elapses. Effective communication is the key. Writers who are working with a sales team should push the sales agents to seek feedback on the work as and when you submit content. This scenario might not play out for projects with tight deadlines.
