Just be aware you are probably gong to prioritize whatever you like doing and whatever is on fire. Than choose whatever strategy works best for you to take care of the other important stuff out there. Doesn't really make a difference which, try something if it didn't work try something else. But just getting aware of your character flaws and your bias towards whatever you like doing well help you to make better decisions, at least some of the time.

When prioritising different projects, first rule to understand what are your deadlines you are working to, expectations on delivery for project partners and understanding flexibility of project partners. Once you have an understanding of the above, set out a plan for each project and seek agreement from all project partners. Each step of the way, keep all orders for materials up to date to suit your agreed plans. It is also imperative to continue to work with and liaise with project partners on progress of each project.

Basically communication is the 🗝️ key. Community knows the solutions. Stakeholders meeting would be a better action at any conflict.

Engage your leadership team in identifying priorities based on organizational mission, values and goals. Make sure there are community agreements. Review the resources and assess their alignment with the priority project(s). Develop a timeline that includes review of standing and trajectory.

Answering these questions can aid in navigating the challenge of overlapping projects. Using tools, such as project management software, to assign responsibilities & track progress can be quite beneficial. It is imperative to keep communication open & transparent among all project-related stakeholders. By having routine checkins one can identify potential conflicts early. Flexibility & adaptability promotes readiness & the ability to pivot when needed. The effecient allocation of resources and keeping a clear focus on objectives will help to keep things on track.

-I create my comprehensive list of tasks and prioritize them by urgency, starting with the most urgent up to the least urgent -I identify deadlines and indicate when each task needs to completed -I regularly reassess my priority list because they can change as I do the tasks -I keep my team mates up to speed with my tasks progress

Communication with Key stakeholders is vital. - adjusting timeframes if possible - knowing investment of time, resources, financial impact - having a project plan with timeframes, deliverables, and leads for the deliverables is very important - sharing of resources such as staff committed to the event, as well as your time should be part of the project plan - don’t over promise and under-deliver to any of your competing priorities
