What you have in your experience, connection with others, knowledge, and most of all : "critical way of thinking" is worth so much more than all of the above .... Begin to speak from what is inside you and how you want connect with others to build anew model of society.... Ask questions, get out of your "teaching chair", engage a debate with your audience ....Simple as that !! Just do it !!

First off, don’t rely on the PowerPoint for your presentation, it is a visual aid. Second, relax, even make humor out of technology and then move on.

Lorsque je maîtrise assez mon sujet j essaye d'être mobile, de varier les intonations, d'illustrer mes propos avec des exemples concrets. Quand je repére un participant qui semble décrocher je me rapproche, essaye d'accrocher son regard, donner un exemple en lien avec sa fonction pour le ramener ici et maintenant !

I prefer to step away from the desk and sit among the audience. And continue the discussion by engaging in questions and answers with others. And, if possible, divide the audience into small practical workgroups, forming teams from the listeners to continue the exercises with them. In this way, participants will become more engaged, the class will become more active, and it will remain more productive.
