Before we start any development Technical discussion & feasibility of the part at supplier to be discussed & closed. Process audit as per frequency to be done so that we understand the strength of the supplier & prevent failures. Quality techniques / tools to be used to identify the root cause with appropriate action plan. Horizontal deployment to be done where common process are established.

Supplier Quality issues should be handled preventively rather than Corrective, Supplier selection becomes very sensitive upon selection of Right machine , Process & Equipment at supplier facility.Moving ahead Quality requirements should be defined during development & FMEA to be reviewed considering all critical & functional requirements thus adding value of Stakeholders.
