This way, people know how much effort to put into a review and you can start learning if / how / and when to trust AI content.

You can start from working with Human Resources team to create a skill matrix that maps out the required skills. In my opinion the best options are GCP and AWS. Both cloud pero ciders are very complete and have competitive prices ces. They allow going from data storing to MLOps, deployment, monitoring and API integrarions in an automated way in which you can opt between user-friendly or more personalized tools depending on the skills and experience of your teams. GenAI are available for both options but Google includes a bigger portfolio of tools.

Truthfully, I feel I work with some of the most gifted engineers on earth. They can pick up things and leverage them in our build at lightning speed. But its also a curse, as they often do not like explaining the rationale for some decisions. "I dunno, I just did it" is a favorite saying of one of them 🙄 We do however take full advantage of the free trials and sandbox environments provided by cloud AI services like MS, AWS, others. For AI clients, I would strongly advise a variety of resources to facilitate this, including online courses and tutorials from platforms such as Coursera and Udacity. Use the free AI credits to build a demo project solving one particular problem of interest. Showcase it on e.g. GitHub.

As part of these opportunities, carve out time for staff and designate it as their time to learn and develop using whatever resources are available. Leaders often expect learning to happen outside of office hours, but allowing teams to dedicate a few uninterrupted hours a month for their growth can improve engagement and provide a notable return. Not only do staff improve their knowledge base, they may also create a prototype that has value to the organization and its customers. For example, allowing teams to learn AI in the office could result in someone generating a model that has practical application and business value. It can also lead to a faster understanding that something wouldn’t have value if requested formally.

This should really be table stakes or basics of your foundation because the work never ends. Training outcomes should always be evaluated and tweaked accordingly as market conditions and more change frequently in AI. Whatever outcomes you are trying to achieve, implement systems and best practices based on those. When those change, so should your evaluation and monitoring procedures but only if the need to. There are many programs out there that can do this for you as you grow your AI solution. But start with it from the beginning as it can be incredibly difficult to do after you have more established protocols. Everything should be fluid and able to pivot. Just look how fast AI solutions are changing DAILY.

Have a focused objective and view of the program. There are multiple AI training’s and platforms - trying to do everything will lead to team being overwhelmed with information. Example: a section of team can focus on Azure, another on AWS and another on GCP and then cross knowledge sharing across all 3 teams. Another way is, within each cloud platforms there are AI services and multiple streams relative to it. Like platform, DevOps, devsecops, data, computer vision (rekognition, transcribe, face api etc) Based on the need of what should be learnt to leverage the learning’s into projects as per business landscape/requirements will help to segregate and have a focused approach towards learning and implementing.

Training your team to use AI can be quite complex but it is essential to ensure adoption and successful usage. Helping the team understand the digital transformation journey and involving them in the aligned strategy conversation is a good way to start. Availing training and skills development programs to the teams is another good step. It is essential that the users are identified based on how they will be interacting with AI (developer, end user, etc.) as this will determine what training they need.
