There are many such challenges that are practically encountered while complying agile methodologies. The existing work force/resources resist such practices, we need to inform them and educate them about the benefits that they will get when using in their as daily routine. It is highly recommended to encourage the team to get them involve in decision making for any task planning and estimates and deliverable dates and also getting their feedback regularly. This would help you get it adapted and implemented easily and with lesser resistance. Appreciation is an another point which encourages team members to implement agile practice in a smoother manner.
