I believe, not only prioritise the clients but also the work. It’s better to make the cohort of clients basis certain attributes like type of work, projects, business volume or location. ( sometime also basis the nature of the client😊) This will help to organise the meetings/ work management etc for every clients. Eg if the requirement is similar of 2 clients you can manage them at same time or give both of them to same team member Or if they are in same location you can plan the visit on the same time by per planning your meetings. Using tools to automate are great and can work well. The one aspect that most don't tell you is that it takes more time than you think to set it up properly to begin with. But once it is set-up, utilizing those tools and benefiting from them become very advantageous to putting in the early work. And if you are anything like me, I am not good at asking for help or delegating. This will only hurt in the long run. One can still stay involved and provide great input and effort into a that relationship, while your client being taken care of by a team. Whether you are out of the office, working with another client or just working to finish up a task for an existing client while not being interrupted when they needs help on something else.

I am a big fan of avoiding tedious and repetative tasks. However, I also believe that (at least for now) no AI-generated tool can mimik the authentic interaction and interest in other person. So I personally love to send a few lines to high-value leads that are fully typed by me. They can be a bit provocative or funny, but always respectful and it can't be confused with a "cold" text written by a machine.

People by from people, so if you say your going to do something - do it. Set expectations, deliver on those. Its about building trust and delivering on what you have promised. With out this - the relationship has already failed.

One thing I've found helpful here, is to set boundaries. The boundaries do more to help you than anyone else. Setting these can help remove emotions from your daily activities. And working towards goals to help your clients come to fruition much quicker and with less stress and problems when emotions are removed and you have clear lanes to stay within and to hold others to when your boundaries are set. Some can be shared with others but most do not and help put yourself in a great frame of mind.

Communication is key here! Being up front with what you can do and can not do is very important. There is no point in making false promises just to make that ONE sale. Being upfront on pricing and delivery times is better for your customer because it gives them time to plan ahead. Setting real expectations will avoid bad business and let downs. Sometimes things happen out of our control but as along as you communicate any issues as soon as they arise, your customer will still appreciate it!

Regardless of Managements requirements for reporting or tracking your daily activities, i.e., Micromanaging the sales team it's simply a great idea! Even if this is not a requirement, you have your customer information to review. To me it's always been a simple way to track profitability and productivity your over year. A CRM is your best friend. I started in the business with a massive account list and I would not have survived if I didn't log every interaction with each prospect with an assigned task from that interaction. My typical day was to wake up and knock out the 50 or so tasks I had assigned myself. Each task had a detailed note telling me exactly what I needed to do and why. If I could not get to a task because my day was too full it rolled to the next day and had priority over all other tasks. By doing this I never missed a follow-up and kept all my deals moving forward. If I learned anything personal about a prospect it went in their notes. Even when I was juggling hundreds of prospects I made them all feel important to me personally.
