Use this opportunity to develop new skills and competences and improve your network. The internship in social can provide great opportunities to test ideas and new tools.

Networking is still about relationships. If you're on the take, relationships won't work. Identify people you can learn something from -- or who can help you take a step in your chosen direction -- and figure out what would make that relationship worth it for them. At a minimum, be the initiator, be punctual, be prepared when they give you time, and follow up with a thank you. Acknowledge that this is STILL one-sided and may not be enough.

Um exemplo real que pratico, é sempre manter o histórico das minhas iniciativas no LinkedIn, uso ele (meus posts) quase que como um portfólio.

Além dos feedbacks no dia a dia com seus colegas e liderança, é interessante pedir recomendações, usando a aplicação do LinkedIn para que as pessoas falem sobre sua entrega e isso sirva como apoio para embasar uma candidatura a uma nova posição.

Um conselho que costumo dar para todos estagiários que me procuram para um papo sobre carreira é: Aproveite a oportunidade ao máximo, não somente realizando as atividades da sua área... procure grupos de trabalho internos, tais como: voluntariado, diversidade Equidade e Inclusão, inovação, compliance, cibersecurity, etc... Essas atividades extras aceleram o desenvolvimento, networking e normalmente são a porta de entrada para boas oportunidades.

Use o tempo do estágio para refletir sobre que tipo de atividade te faz sentir realizado e feliz, isso pode ser valioso para vc definir com o que quer trabalhar no futuro.

Ace what the internship asks of you. This is either obvious or ridiculous to you, but using your internship to “find yourself” at other people’s expense is a mistake. Your internship coordinators will be called for reference. If they suggest that after committing, you stopped doing things you discovered you disliked, that will not bode well. Sure, an internship is an opportunity to discover what you do and do not want to do in the future, but it is a mistake to learn this at the expense of anybody giving you a chance. My one and only experience in architecture was a summer internship. Within a week, I knew I NEVER wanted to practice. However, I continued to show up on time every morning for 2.5 unpaid months – and learned a ton!
