There are basically no truly original ideas, so combining different perspectives is how we find creative solutions. So the more curious you are, the more perspectives you'll likely have at your disposal. And this will in itself help to foster creativity.

I don’t know that you have to be creative just because other leaders are creative. You can be a great leader without any special or artistic skills. Just be good at people. Know them, support them, empower them, empathize with them, encourage and support them, challenge and develop them, and care about them. If you need creativity on your team and that’s a gap for you, hire someone creative. You can certainly learn new skills, but you won’t become incredibly talented in a new area overnight. Find someone who is and empower them.
