Be happy for their achievements and learn from them to improve your skills. That is such an amazing opportunity to grow. We are all different, and the truth is, there always will be someone smarter, with greater experience, or with a better sense of humor. Learn to accept it. From my experience, I consider that networking with peers is an opportunity to complement each other without fear that one shines more than the other. We always have something to learn from people and take everything with an open mind and from the humility that each peer or colleague shines because they stand out in something different from us. We must always see it as an opportunity.

On thing I have found useful is that don’t try to over shine anybody, put your points with honesty and clarity without trying to impress anyone. Your body language should not come across as someone who is not sure what he or she is talking about.

One thing that i found always helpful is be an active listener and asking explorative questions. Be genuinely curious about his/her perspective.

I dressed up my wedding dress, a beautiful one. Most of the networkers spoke to me and we exchanged ideas about business. Even I had who walked with me the way.
